Taking the strain out of insurance

Advanced Insured Resources Ltd provides a full insurance intermediary service to businesses and professionals. We are here to take the strain out of not only arranging cover but also, should the need to make a claim arise, that eventuality too.

We want to build lasting relationships with our clients, based on trust and integrity, and believe meeting face to face is integral to that. Accordingly, wherever possible, we would always prefer to meet in person; clients are welcome at our offices or, if more convenient, we will happily travel to them. From the first meeting, we will work together, listening to and analysing their needs before making an objective recommendation based on a fair analysis of the market; there is no one size fits all approach at AiR  because no two clients are the same.

We provide full support to our clients and at all times remain their primary point of contact. We act in their interests at all times and so, in the event of a claim, we will take the burden of dealing with the insurer or any other third party relevant to the claim and ensure our clients receive the cover they are entitled to.

The company is a family owned business with key values of integrity, respect, transparency, trust and that comes through in our professional lives. Whilst our outlook and infrastructure is state of the art, we remain faithful to those old fashioned core principles and believe that’s not only what sets us apart from our competitors, but also why our reputation precedes us.

Oliver Al Falah

Oliver Al-Falah

Director

Oliver is the Director of Advanced Insured Resources. He qualified as a Barrister in 2007 with a Major Scholarship from the Honourable Society of the Inner Temple before then cross qualifying as a Solicitor in 2011. He practised at two highly respected private client firms, both of which are top ranked in the Legal 500 and Chambers & Partners Directories before, in 2015, setting up his own solicitors’ firm. A significant proportion of his practice focussed on regulatory law and he gained significant experience acting for clients authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority, Her Majesty’s Revenue and Customs, the General Dental Council and General Medical Council.

Additionally, having gained a reputation for such work in his field, Oliver advised clients on new applications to their respective regulatory bodies, ensuring they had the appropriate compliance structures, procedures and insurance policies in place.

As a lawyer Oliver gained an exemplary reputation for both this advice and attention to detail, acting for a number of high-profile individuals and businesses. Complementing these attributes, he was also known for his first-class client care and it is these three qualities in particular he stands by today.

It was his experience of starting a law firm that provided the kernel for creating an insurance intermediary. He found it far too cumbersome to arrange the necessary policies for his business, including professional indemnity and employer’s liability insurance, than it should have been and so he decided to do something about it. Additionally, given his understanding of businesses having advised clients (many within the insurance industry and FCA regulated) on both their set up and also upon investigation by one of the aforementioned bodies, he saw an opportunity to use that experience.  He wanted to assist those needing insurance to ensure they not only had the correct policies in place but had also implemented the appropriate measures to minimise their risk. These fundamentals, coupled with a desire to start a family business, made the decision to start and develop Advanced Insured Resources Ltd an obvious choice.

Sales Account Handler

George is a sales account handler and his role includes advising and arranging insurance for a variety of different companies and businesses. Given Advanced Insured Resources is completely independent, meaning it has access to the entire London Market, it has a host of reliable and trusted insurance partners to help George find the right policy to best protect your business’ interests.

Previously, George was employed by Grove and Dean as a sales representative, a car insurance brokers ranked in the top 50 insurance brokers in the UK. During his two years there, he gained first-hand experience directly liaising with underwriters, analysing and providing detailed risk assessments in the process, giving him a key understanding of how the insurance industry operates. In addition to this, being a sales orientated role, there was a high pressure to perform well and achieve sales targets, an experience that really teaches the value and importance of hard work and played a key role in the determined and motivated mindset George takes to all tasks.

Sport and fitness are a big part of George’s life outside of work, having played football and golf for his local clubs from a young age and attending a skiing holiday every year since the age of 7. His passion for fitness and being physically active inspired him to apply and complete the London marathon in 2019 in aid of the teenage cancer trust, raising over £2000 through hosting various charity balls and sporting events in the process.

Sales Account Handler

Sam is a sales account handler and his role includes advising and arranging insurance for a variety of different companies and businesses; in particular, he wants the firm’s clients to have the best possible cover and to be completely comfortable with their choice and goes the extra mile to explain his advice in detail. Given Advanced Insured Resources is completely independent, meaning it has access to the entire London Market, it has a host of reliable and trusted insurance partners to help him find the right policy to best protect your business’ interests.

Previously Sam worked at several other insurance companies specialising in the property and motor markets at Devitt Insurance and Ed Broking. He has three years’ experience in the insurance industry and is passionate about broadening his knowledge in insurance, new products coming to market as well as emerging risks.

Sam’s hobbies include playing sports such as football and tennis and going to the gym. When they’re performing well, he also enjoys watching West Ham United. Sam has successfully completed the Duke of Edinburgh Bronze award, as well as winning the Jack Petchey Award. He has also competed at district level in the 1500m and Cross Country.
